Hospitals in Corbin, Frankfort, Lexington, Louisville and Mount Vernon win Quality Awards from their state association
The Kentucky Hospital Association recently gave five Kentucky hospitals its annual Quality Awards, honoring them for their hospital leadership, innovation in quality, safety and commitment to patient care.
The recipients of the award in each of the five categories are:
- Rockcastle Regional Hospital and Respiratory Care Center – acute-care hospitals with fewer than 100 beds
- Frankfort Regional Medical Center – acute-care hospitals with 100 – 250 beds
- Baptist Health Corbin – acute-care hospitals with more than 250 beds
- UofL Health – Peace Hospital – psychiatric units and freestanding psychiatric hospitals

“These five hospitals demonstrated not only a dedication to patient safety, but their persistence to going above and beyond what is expected for providing quality care,” a news release said.
