The Kentucky Hospital Association has recognized state Sen. Stephen Meredith as a 2024 KHA Legislative Champion for his outstanding service and leadership in the Kentucky General Assembly.

The award was presented during a meeting at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford, where Meredith, a Republican from Leitchfield, was honored for his “unwavering commitment to advancing healthcare legislation that ensures access to quality patient care across the commonwealth,” according to a news release.

As a former hospital CEO, Meredith brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his role in the state Senate.

“It is always an honor to be recognized by the Kentucky Hospital Association,” Meredith said in the release. “My time in health care has shown me firsthand the importance of access to quality care, especially in rural Kentucky. I remain committed to ensuring that every Kentuckian receives the health care they deserve.”
