Grant application deadline for nonprofits serving marginalized youth with emotional disabilities is April 28

As part of the Kentucky Services and Infrastructure eXpansion initiative, the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky will award up to 10 grants of up to $100,000 per award to community-based nonprofit organizations that have demonstrated evidence of success serving minoritized and marginalized children and youth and their families.
The Kentucky Services and Infrastructure eXpansion (KY SIX) initiative works to increase equitable access to services and supports for children and youth at risk of or with serious emotional disabilities, specifically those with involvement in child welfare and/or the juvenile justice systems, according to a news release.
These grants are intended to support the implementation or expansion of programming that involves trauma- and grief-informed care services and supports, other clinical services, peer support, and/or therapeutic non-clinical supports, according to the release.
