Bloom Kentucky to host webinar titled “Harnessing Opioid Settlement Funds for Lasting Impact” on Dec. 13

Bloom Kentucky is hosting an informational webinar about the latest round of grants available from the Kentucky Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission.

The webinar, titled “Harnessing Opioid Settlement Funds for Lasting Impact,” will be held Friday, Dec. 13 from 10 to 11 a.m. EST.

Bloom Kentucky is a statewide initiative that aims to prevent and reduce the impact of adverse childhood experiences by changing state policies.

The webinar will feature the commission’s Executive Director Chris Evans and Deputy Director Jessie Halladay. They will provide an overview of the upcoming Kentucky Opioid Abatement Settlement grant cycle, which opened on Dec. 2. The application deadline is 6 p.m. EST on Jan. 17.

The event also will provide insights into funding opportunities, important dates and the newly revised application process. Plus, participants will have the chance to ask questions of the commission leaders during a Q&A session.
